Wellington waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They snuck past the Rose Hill Rockets with a 64-59 win. For the Crusaders, this counts as revenge for the 58-42 victory the Rockets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Rose Hill lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Andrew Poss, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 14 boards. Poss is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Ethan Helget, who posted 11 points and five steals.

Wellington pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points per game. As for Rose Hill, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Coincidentally, Wellington and Rose Hill will both be playing Mulvane the next time they take the court. Rose Hill will host Mulvane at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Wellington will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on February 4th.
