Volleyball Recap: Andover Triumphs

Andover saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Glencoe-Silver Lake Panthers.

Danica Lenz paced Andover's offense, picking up six kills. Lenz got some help from Taegan Groess and her 11 assists. Jada Johnson controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Andover's win bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Glencoe-Silver Lake, they moved to 8-11 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Coincidentally, Andover and Glencoe-Silver Lake will both be playing Nova Classical Academy the next time they take the court. The Huskies will head out to face the Knights at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
