Volleyball Recap: Archie Williams Comes Up Short

Archie Williams was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They came up short against the Redwood Giants, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Giants this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in March.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-17, 25-14.

Zachary Wulff paced Archie Williams' offense, picking up six kills. Wulff got some help from Max Brasler and his nine assists.

Archie Williams' loss dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Redwood, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.

Archie Williams and Redwood will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Peregrine Falcons see the court they'll take on San Marin at 5:00 p.m. on the 15th. As for Redwood, their break will end when they face Terra Linda at 5:00 p.m. on the 17th.
