 Eugene got themselves on the board against Versailles on Tuesday, but Versailles never followed suit. They had just enough and edged the Versailles Tigers out  1-0. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Eugene.
  Ryan Lepper was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Lepper was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-2.
 Eugene pushed their record up to 20-8 with that  win, which was their 13th straight  at home dating back to last season. As for Versailles, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-13.
 Eugene will head out on the road to  take on  California at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Both teams have allowed few  runs on average, (Eugene: 3.3, California: 3.8) so any  runs scored will be well earned. As for Versailles, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Richland at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Versailles is facing Richland at the right time seeing as Richland is stuck on  a  four-game losing streak.
