Basketball Recap: Irvington Comes Up Short

After flying high against Hill on Thursday, Irvington came back down to earth. The Vikings took a 71-56 bruising from the Willow Glen Rams on Saturday.

Irvington has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for Willow Glen, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Irvington will take on American in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Willow Glen and Piedmont Hills will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
