It was a good run, but Eldon unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell 6-3 to the Blair Oaks Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 back in April.

Devin Hardy put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over 3.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. That's the fewest earned runs he has allowed over his last three games. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs.

Hardy wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Colten Bashore, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Eldon's loss dropped their record down to 17-15. As for Blair Oaks, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-15 record this season.

As of now, neither Eldon nor Blair Oaks have any future games scheduled.
