Basketball Recap: Hesperia Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Hesperia took on Newaygo on Saturday. The Hesperia Panthers fell just short of the Newaygo Lions by a score of 68-65. The Panthers have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Hesperia's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Newaygo, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-8.

Hesperia will welcome Ravenna at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Newaygo, they are taking a road trip to square off against Hart at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
