Softball Recap: Davison Comes Up Short

Davison lost against Lakeland on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cardinals came up short against the Eagles, falling 12-5. That's two games in a row now that the Cardinals have lost by exactly seven runs.

Davison dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Lakeland, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Davison and Lakeland will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Cardinals will face off against rival Heritage at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Lakeland is set to challenge their familiar foe Walled Lake Northern at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
