Soccer Game Preview: Waukesha West vs. Waukesha North

The Waukesha West Wolverines will head out to challenge the Waukesha North Northstars at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Waukesha West is headed into Thursday's contest following a draw, the team's first since September 11. They and Catholic Memorial finished up their match with a 1-1 draw on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Waukesha North didn't have quite enough to beat Pius XI Catholic on Monday and fell 3-2. The defeat continues a trend for Waukesha North in their meetings with Pius XI Catholic: they've now lost four in a row.

Waukesha North's loss dropped their record down to 3-8-2. Waukesha West's draw gives them a new season record of 10-3-2.

Waukesha West was able to grind out a solid victory over Waukesha North when the teams last played back in September of 2024, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolverines since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
