Baseball Recap: Providence Christian Takes a Loss

Providence Christian and Saint James squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Providence Christian had to settle for second. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 9-3 to the Trojans, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-3 on Friday.

Providence Christian's loss dropped their record down to 13-15. As for Saint James, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-10-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Trojans beat Providence Christian by a score of 9-3 on Saturday.
