Bay had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They never let the Pass Christian Pirates onto the board and left with a 2-0 victory. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pirates, too.

The win got Bay back to even at 4-4-1. As for Pass Christian, they moved to 6-2-1 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bay will host Poplarville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Poplarville will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Bay surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pass Christian, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Moss Point at 6:00 p.m.
