There's no place like home for St. Mary Cathedral, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the Ellsworth Lancers by a score of 39-30 on Monday. The 39-point effort marked the Snowbirds' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

St. Mary Cathedral's victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Ellsworth, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season.

St. Mary Cathedral didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 54-39 win against Central Lake on the 11th. As for Ellsworth, they will host Grand Traverse Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Grand Traverse Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Ellsworth surely won't give up without a fight.
