Football Game Preview: Charles Wright Tarriers vs. La Conner Braves

On Saturday, Charles Wright took their contest with ease, bagging a 54-14 win over Concrete.

Meanwhile, La Conner faced Waterville/Mansfield in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Braves put the hurt on Waterville/Mansfield with a sharp 54-30 victory. The Braves' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

The win got Charles Wright back to even at 2-2. As for La Conner, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Charles Wright suffered a grim 30-6 defeat to La Conner in their previous meeting back in October of 2022. Can the Tarriers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
