Softball Recap: New Diana Falls Short of Hooks in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact New Diana can now relate to. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 12-2 to the Hooks Hornets, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Eagles' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

New Diana's loss dropped their record down to 17-10-1. As for Hooks, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season.

While New Diana had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
