Red Lake won the last time they faced Laporte and Austin Perkins did his part to make sure it happened again. The Warriors claimed a resounding 83-52 win over the Wildcats thanks in part to Perkins, who dropped a double-double with 27 points and 13 rebounds. The game was his eighth in a row with at least 15 points.

Another player making a difference was John Henry Barrett, who posted nine points in addition to eight boards and five steals. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

The victory got Red Lake back to even at 7-7. As for Laporte, they dropped their record down to 1-12 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Red Lake will square off against Blackduck at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Laporte, they will venture away from home to challenge Northome/Kelliher at 1:15 p.m. on Thursday.
