South Point had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Red Raiders who were credited with the victory on Monday. The South Point Red Raiders got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the East Lincoln Mustangs's two. The win was familiar territory for South Point, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Jyi'Yanna Watkins, who's now up to 16 this season.

South Point's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-3-2. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 53 goals over those eight contests. As for East Lincoln, their defeat ended an 11-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-3-3.

South Point wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Hickory on the 22nd. East Lincoln does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
