Basketball Recap: Millburn Skates Past College Achieve Paterson with Ease

A well-balanced attack led Millburn over College Achieve Paterson in every quarter on their way to victory on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Millburn Millers blew College Achieve Paterson out of the water with a 66-27 final score. The Millers pushed the score to 60-24 by the end of the third, a deficit College Achieve Paterson had no chance of recovering from.

Leading Millburn to victory were Chace Redler and Chase Plotkin. Redler went 10 of 19 en route to 26 points along with five boards and four steals, while Plotkin posted 16 points and three steals. Those 26 points gave Redler a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Devon Aroner, who had six points and three steals.

Millburn's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.8 points per game. As for College Achieve Paterson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Millburn will head out to face off against Livingston at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. College Achieve Paterson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
