Soccer Game Preview: Monarch vs. Skyline

The Monarch Coyotes are taking a road trip to take on the Skyline Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Monarch will be strutting in after a victory while Skyline will be coming in after a loss.

If Skyline heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Monarch took over last week. Monarch came out on top against Silver Creek by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The Coyotes haven't had any issues with the Raptors recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Monarch hit Silver Creek with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jane Tucker, Mollie Poniatowski, and Paloma Mellish.

Meanwhile, Skyline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Green Mountain. That's two games in a row now that the Falcons have lost by exactly two goals.

Monarch's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Skyline, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
