Douglas Byrd saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 60-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Jack Britt. While the Eagles didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Buccaneers 15-8 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 74-26, which was the final score in Gray's Creek's tilt against Seventy-First on Friday. The Bears haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Gray's Creek's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Douglas Byrd, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 4-6.
