Softball Recap: Oakridge Warriors vs. Lowell Devils
Oakridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 12-2 walloping at the hands of the Lowell Devils. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest runs Oakridge has scored all season.
For Lowell's part, Kaili Kirkhart was a standout: she scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Amerika Baszler, who scored two runs while going 3-for-5.
Oakridge now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Lowell, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oakridge will face off against North Douglas at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lowell, they will head out on the road to take on Camas Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lowell is facing Camas Valley at the right time seeing as Camas Valley is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
