Softball Recap: O'fallon Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for O'Fallon, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They came out on top against the Quincy Blue Devils by a score of 6-2 on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Panthers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Kennedy Clark spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on six hits and racked up eight Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ella Klino, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Schmitt, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

O'Fallon's win bumped their record up to 13-18. As for Quincy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-21 record this season.

O'Fallon wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 16-0 loss against Edwardsville on the 30th. Quincy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
