Soccer Game Preview: Bishop's vs. Escondido Charter

The Bishop's Knights will face off against the Escondido Charter Tigers at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Wednesday, Bishop's didn't have quite enough to beat Maranatha Christian and fell 3-2.

Meanwhile, Escondido Charter fell victim to Orange Glen and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They lost 5-0 to the Patriots. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 497th, while the Patriots are ranked 92nd).

Escondido Charter has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7-3 record this season. As for Bishop's, they dropped their record down to 5-6-1 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.
