Volleyball Game Preview: Highland Huskies vs. Dawson School Mustangs

The Highland Huskies are taking a road trip to challenge the Dawson School Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dawson School took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Highland, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Highland made easy work of Clear Creek and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Highland not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Clear Creek between 16 and 19 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-19, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Dawson School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of SkyView Academy.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-16, 14-25, 25-17.

Highland's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Dawson School, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.

Highland took their victory against Dawson School when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
