Basketball Game Preview: Camden Blue Devils vs. Herkimer Magicians

The Camden Blue Devils are taking a road trip to square off against the Herkimer Magicians at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Camden has given up an average of 60.3 points per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Camden is headed into Wednesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games on Monday. They came up short against Mt. Markham, falling 74-48. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 681st, while the Mustangs are ranked 193rd).

Meanwhile, Herkimer came up short against Hamilton on Monday and fell 52-44. The matchup marked the Magicians' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Camden's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Herkimer, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Camden came out on top in a nail-biter against Herkimer when the teams last played back in December of 2025, sneaking past 54-52. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Devils since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
