Basketball Recap: Monroe Has No Trouble Against Oakridge

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kennedy, Monroe was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took down the Oakridge Warriors 57-40. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Dragons considering their 28-point performance the contest before.

Monroe's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-10. As for Oakridge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.

Monroe will host Waldport at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oakridge, they will venture away from home to face off against Trinity Lutheran at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
