Volleyball Recap: Southwestern Randolph Comes Up Short on the Road Against Cornerstone Charter

Southwestern Randolph had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to the Cornerstone Charter Cardinals.

Southwestern Randolph took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-18, 31-29.

Cornerstone Charter can attribute much of their success to Aubrey Kimball, who had 14 digs and three aces. That's the most aces Kimball has posted since back in October of 2024.

Looking ahead, Southwestern Randolph will look to defend their home court on Friday against East Rowan at 5:00 p.m. As for Cornerstone Charter, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will face off against McMichael at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
