Plymouth Christian Academy barely beat Novi the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles blew past the Wildcats 13-6 on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won seven games by seven runs or more so far this season.
Sophie Paryaski was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and two unearned) runs off eight hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Chloe Paryaski and Ellie Weertz did most of the damage at the plate: Chloe went 3-for-5 with three RBI, one run, and one double, while Weertz went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.
