Volleyball Game Preview: Jersey Panthers vs. Waterloo Bulldogs + How To Watch

Jersey hasn't had much luck against Waterloo recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Panthers will venture away from home to challenge the Bulldogs at 6:15 p.m. Jersey will be strutting in after a win while Waterloo will be coming in after a loss.

Jersey is headed into the matchup having just posted their closest victory since August 30th on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Civic Memorial 2-1.

Jersey had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-15, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Waterloo didn't have quite enough to beat Triad on Tuesday and fell 2-1. While the Bulldogs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Knights 25-15 in the first set.

Waterloo actually scored more points across those three sets (69-65), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 15-25, 25-21, 25-23.

Jersey's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 13-8. As for Waterloo, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 15-2.
