Baseball Recap: Argos Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Argos's offense. They lost 12-0 to the Culver Academies Eagles on Saturday. The Dragons have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Argos saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zayne Ruby, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Argos' loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Culver Academies, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

Argos has already played their next matchup, a 23-1 defeat against Whitko on the 6th. As for Culver Academies, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 17-16 loss against Plymouth on the 6th.
