Volleyball Recap: Pender Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Pender lost against South Lenoir back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Patriots took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Devils. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-15, 15-25, 25-15.

Charleigh Rivenbark paced Pender's offense, picking up eight kills. Rivenbark got some help from Ryley Bradshaw and her eight assists. Jensen Bordeaux controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Pender's record now sits at 5-15. As for South Lenoir, their victory ended a six-match drought at home and bumped them up to 4-14.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Pender is set to square off against their familiar foe East Duplin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, South Lenoir will challenge rival Southwest Onslow at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
