Volleyball Game Preview: Copper Canyon Aztecs vs. Independence Patriots + Official Tickets

Copper Canyon is 1-7 against Independence since September of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Aztecs are taking a road trip to challenge the Patriots at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Copper Canyon lost 3-0 to La Joya Community on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Independence didn't have quite enough to beat Glendale on Wednesday and fell 1-0.

Copper Canyon's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Independence, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-20.

Everything went Copper Canyon's way against Independence in their previous meeting back in September, as Copper Canyon made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Aztecs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
