Legacy Christian Academy is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Tri-Village on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Legacy Christian Academy was dealt a 79-25 loss at the hands of Tri-Village. The match marked the Knights' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Valley View). They walked away with a 78-66 victory over Madison last Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Spartans with their most commanding win of the season.

Valley View's win came from a few key players Legacy Christian Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Brody Denny, who posted 25 points along with six assists and four steals. Denny is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least three every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ty Fritz, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 boards.

Valley View smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive boards in four consecutive contests.

Legacy Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Valley View, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
