Preview: Plattsburg Tigers vs. Bishop LeBlond Eagles
Plattsburg has been on the road for four straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on The Bishop LeBlond Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Plattsburg had a rough season last year, but they looks ready to turn that poor record around this year. They breezed by Concordia on the road to the tune of 53-13.
Meanwhile, Bishop LeBlond blew past Greenfield, posting a 70-20 victory at home.
Bishop LeBlond found their leader in underclassman Cooper Tabor, who threw for 343 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 14.3 yards per attempt. Bishop LeBlond also got help from Jackson Sigrist who showed off his sure hands for 148 receiving yards.
Bishop LeBlond's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. Leading the way was Nick Daise and his two sacks.
Their wins bumped Plattsburg to 7-1 and Bishop LeBlond to 4-3.
Plattsburg didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Bishop LeBlond in their previous matchup two weeks ago, but they still walked away with a 40-34 win. Will Plattsburg repeat their success, or does Bishop LeBlond have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
