It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Trinity Academy had no problem doing just that on Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Garden Plain Owls. Winning may never get old, but the Knights sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Trinity Academy took both sets by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-12.
Regan Allen was the offensive standout of the match as she had six digs and three aces.
Trinity Academy's win was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 29-4. As for Garden Plain, their loss dropped their record down to 28-11.
