Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Maumelle). They strolled past the Jacksonville Titans with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 90-76. Given the Hornets' advantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 11th, while the Titans are ranked 84th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Maumelle has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.8 points over those games. As for Jacksonville, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-16.

Coming up, Maumelle will challenge Sylvan Hills at 7:00 p.m. on February 14th. As for Jacksonville, they will square off against Beebe at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
