Vincennes Rivet won the last time they faced North Central and things went their way on Friday too. The Patriots put the hurt on the Thunderbirds with a sharp 19-12 victory. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by six runs or more this season.

Brody (Bo) Shots was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April.

Vincennes Rivet pushed their record up to 15-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for North Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

Vincennes Rivet will face off against Bedford North Lawrence at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Stars' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Patriots' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for North Central, they will challenge White River Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Thunderbirds are facing the Wolverines at the right time seeing as the Wolverines are stuck on a 14-game losing streak.
