Seaforth had won ten straight at home dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they bumped up to 3-0 to make it 11. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 49-47 victory over the Chapel Hill Tigers. That's more bragging rights for the Hawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Having lost for the first time this season, Chapel Hill fell to 3-1. The loss was their first of the season.

When it comes to explaining why Chapel Hill lost, don't look at Zoe Smith. Despite the final result, she went 8-for-10 on her way to 17 points in addition to six boards and three blocks. Smith is crushing it when it comes to blocks: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Haara Umenwaliri, who posted eight points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Looking ahead, Seaforth will be playing in front of their home fans against Felton Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Chapel Hill, they will square off against Carrboro at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
