Basketball Recap: Brookline Comes Up Short

Brookline was the 52-40 winner over Wellesley when they last played one another back in December of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors took a 42-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders on Tuesday. The game marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Brookline's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Wellesley, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-8 record this season.

Brookline will venture away from home to take on Newton North at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wellesley, they will host Braintree at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
