Volleyball Game Preview: River View Black Bears vs. Beaver Local Beavers

The River View Black Bears will take on the Beaver Local Beavers in a tournament on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

River View saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They came out on top against Indian Valley by a score of 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Black Bears in their matchups with the Braves: they've now won three in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-17, 23-25, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Beaver Local made easy work of Minerva on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win.

While Beaver Local won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-23, 25-15.

Beaver Local's victory bumped their record up to 22-2. As for River View, their win bumped their record up to 20-4.

River View took their victory against Beaver Local when the teams last played back in October of 2022 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Black Bears have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Beavers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
