Soccer Game Preview: Pebblebrook vs. Douglas County

Pebblebrook hasn't had much luck against Douglas County recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Pebblebrook Falcons will head out on the road to challenge the Douglas County Tigers at 6:30 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Friday, Pebblebrook came up short against Chapel Hill and fell 3-1. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Douglas County took on Central on Tuesday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Douglas County who was credited with the win. Douglas County got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to Central's one.

The victory got Douglas County back to even at 2-2. As for Pebblebrook, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Pebblebrook came up short against Douglas County when the teams last played back in March of 2018, falling 2-0. Can Pebblebrook avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
