Jefferson won the last time they faced Aurora East and things went their way on Saturday too. The Jefferson J-Hawks were the clear victor by a 58-37 margin over the Aurora East Tomcats.

Jefferson is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-8 record this season. As for Aurora East, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-13.

Jefferson will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Rockford Auburn at 6:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025. As for Aurora East, they will challenge Elgin at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Considering Elgin has lost five straight at home and Aurora East five straight on the road (dating back to last season), this one might come down to who's more desperate to change their momentum.
