Basketball Game Preview: Vinemont Eagles vs. Hanceville Bulldogs

Vinemont is 2-8 against Hanceville since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Vinemont Eagles will host the Hanceville Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Vinemont came up short against Locust Fork on Tuesday, falling 78-56. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 369th, while the Hornets are ranked 107th).

Meanwhile, Hanceville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 56-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Dora.

Vinemont's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Hanceville, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.
