Volleyball Game Preview: Prairie City Panthers vs. Dayville/Monument/Long Creek Tigers

Prairie City is a perfect 5-0 against Dayville/Monument/Long Creek since August of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Panthers will take on the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. Prairie City will be strutting in after a win while Dayville/Monument/Long Creek will be coming in after a loss.

Prairie City saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came out on top against Umatilla by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Meanwhile, Dayville/Monument/Long Creek came up short against Mitchell/Spray/Wheeler on Saturday, falling 3-0. The Tigers haven't had much luck with Mitchell/Spray/Wheeler recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Dayville/Monument/Long Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Prairie City, their victory bumped their record up to 12-5.

Prairie City took their win against Dayville/Monument/Long Creek when the teams last played back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
