Basketball Recap: Southeastern Comes Up Short

Southeastern suffered their biggest loss since December 10, 2024 on Tuesday. They were outmatched by the Unioto Shermans and fell 64-31. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Shermans recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Southeastern's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Unioto, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-2.

Southeastern will head out to take on Zane Trace at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Zane Trace knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Southeastern likes a good challenge. As for Unioto, they will challenge Westfall at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Unioto's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six contests.
