Volleyball Game Preview: McClintock Chargers vs. Carl Hayden Community Falcons + Official Tickets

McClintock has gone 7-1 against Carl Hayden Community recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. McClintock will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Last Friday, McClintock beat North 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-11, 22-25, 25-15.

McClintock can attribute much of their success to Delilah McMonagle, who had 20 digs and four assists, and Iyla Molina, who had 11 digs and two aces. That's the most aces Molina has posted over her last four contests.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Carl Hayden Community and Alhambra had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Falcons fell just short of the Lions by a score of 3-2 last Tuesday. The Falcons have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Carl Hayden Community's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for McClintock, their win bumped their record up to 11-4.

McClintock took their victory against Carl Hayden Community in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Chargers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
