Recap: Tekoa-Rosalia Timberwolves vs. Garfield-Palouse Vikings
After flying high against the Colton Wildcats on Friday, the Tekoa-Rosalia Timberwolves came back down to earth. Tekoa-Rosalia fell 59-48 to Garfield-Palouse on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Tekoa-Rosalia of the 70-56 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.
Despite the loss, Tekoa-Rosalia still got an impressive performance from Isaac Bone, who scored 33 points along with five steals and three blocks. That was a full 68.8% of Tekoa-Rosalia's points, marking the 15th time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ziyon Marsh, who scored five points along with nine rebounds and two blocks.
Tekoa-Rosalia now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Garfield-Palouse, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.
Tekoa-Rosalia will be playing in front of their home fans against Cusick at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Garfield-Palouse, they will head out on the road to take on Dayton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
