Baseball Recap: Southmoore Comes Up Short

Southmoore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 12-4 to the Marlow Outlaws.

Southmoore saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landin Shippers, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Southmoore's defeat dropped their record down to 12-18. As for Marlow, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That somehow still isn't as good as their 23-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Southmoore will head out to face off against Norman at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Marlow, they will venture away from home to challenge Plainview at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
