Soccer Game Preview: El Camino vs. Rio Linda

The El Camino Eagles will face off against the Rio Linda Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: El Camino has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while Rio Linda will arrive with three straight wins.

Last Wednesday, El Camino didn't have quite enough to beat Natomas and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Jean Paul Jauregui, which was the first he's scored this season.

Meanwhile, Rio Linda won against Dixon on Wednesday with two goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Saturday. Rio Linda skirted past El Primero 2-1. That's two games straight that the Knights have won by just one goal.

Rio Linda now has a winning record of 7-6-3. As for El Camino, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7-2.
