Football Recap: Kinston Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Kinston extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 2-5. They took a 42-26 bruising from the Florala Wildcats. The Bulldogs lost against the Wildcats in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 41-0 score last time.

As for Florala, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Greyson West had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 203 yards and four scores on only 11 carries, while also picking up 84 receiving yards and one touchdown. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 70-yard run.

Looking ahead, Kinston will be playing at home against McKenzie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Florala, they will head out to square off against Brantley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
