Basketball Recap: Ennis Wins Going Away Against Terrell

It was a proper cat-fight when Ennis faced off against Terrell on Friday. The Ennis Lions took down the Terrell Tigers 40-26. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 71-45 back in December of 2024.

Ennis' win bumped their record up to 12-17. As for Terrell, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-19.

Ennis and Terrell could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Ennis will challenge Red Oak at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 573 places (658 vs. 85). Meanwhile, Terrell (ranked 1160th) will meet Midlothian Heritage (ranked 402nd) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
